The School of Law at BRAC University, in partnership with Jessup Bangladesh, the International Law Students Association (ILSA), Hearth Bangladesh, and the U.S. Department of Justice`s Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance, and Training (DOJ-OPDAT), proudly inaugurated a two-day Jessup workshop on Mooting and Advocacy titled “May It Please the Court: Unlocking the Essentials of Mooting and Advocacy” on November 1, 2024.

The Textile Engineering department of Southeast University (SEU) hosted The 5th Textile Research Conference (TRC) at the Multipurpose Hall of the University on 26th October 2024.

The Southeast Debate Club (SEUDC) hosted a successful edition of the National Debate Competition titled “SEUDC Nationals 2024” at the permanent campus of Southeast University on October 18-19, bringing together 48 universities, colleges, and schools.

On Sunday, October 20, 2024, Southeast University (SEU) celebrated the launch of its newly designed website, marking a major step forward in the university`s digital transformation. The website was officially inaugurated by Mr. Rezaul Karim, Chairman of SEU`s Board of Trustees (BoT), in a ceremony attended by prominent members of the SEU community.

Southeast University (SEU) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TMSS Grand Health Sector to foster collaboration in research, education, and healthcare. The MoU was signed on October 5, 2024, during a business meeting and MoU signing ceremony held at the Conference Room of TMSS Bogura.

The Board of Governors of South Asia Foundation (SAF) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, September 30, 2024. The meeting took place at the Conference room of the Southeast University permanent campus.

The Banglar Math Team Championship 2024, a prestigious event aimed at fostering mathematical talent among students across Bangladesh, was held on 27 September 2024 at Southeast University (SEU). The event saw the enthusiastic participation of around 450 Students from various regions of the country.

The Department of Pharmacy at Southeast University, in collaboration with the Southeast Pharmacy Club, celebrated World Pharmacists Day on September 25, 2024,  with a rally, followed by a discussion session held in the university. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of the university, was present at the event.

The three faculties of United International University (UIU) have been featured among the ‘World’s Top 2% Scientists’ list in a joint survey by Stanford University, California, USA, and Elsevier. Recently, the names of three faculties of UIU were published in the list by Stanford University and Elsevier.

The “Chain Reaction” of United International University won the Gold Award in the 5th Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh 2024. The award giving ceremony of the competition was held through online platform recently.
