The School of Business and Economics of United International University (UIU) organized a seminar on “Beyond the AI Apocalypse: Further-Proofing Education to Close the Gap between Technology and Skills” at UIU Campus yesterday.
Prof. Dr. M Niaz Asadullah, Professor of Development Economics, Monash University Malaysia and Southeast Asia Lead, Global Labor Organization was present as the Guest Speaker. While Prof. Dr. Abu Saleh Md. Sohel-Uz-Zaman, Director - MBA, EMBA & MIHRM Programs of UIU, Prof. Dr. Khandoker Mahmudur Rahman, Director, BBA Program of UIU were present in the seminar. The seminar was presided and conducted by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Musa, Dean, School of Business and Economics, UIU.
In his speech, the Guest Speaker highlighted the need for faculty members and students to acquire various technical skills along with soft skills to tackle AI and the 4th Industrial Revolution.
All Faculty members of School of Business and Economics, officials, academicians and researchers were present in the seminar.
