National Debate Competition 2024 Announcement

Southeast Debate Club (SEUDC) is proud to announce the launch of the National Debate Competition 2024 (BP format), "Voice for Resurrection," which will take place on the 18th & 19th of October at the “Southeast University Campus”.

Themed “Voice for Resurrection,” the event aims to engage young minds in thought-provoking discussions about the future of Bangladesh and the steps necessary to drive the nation towards sustainable growth and prosperity.

The competition will bring together talented debaters from 26 Universities and 22 Colleges & Schools across the country, providing a platform for intellectual exchange and constructive dialogue on issues that matter to the nation's development. Participants will engage in rounds of debates covering topics such as the constitution, policy reform, economic growth, social justice, and social governance.

The event will be graced by the presence of Md Asaduzzaman, Attorney General of Bangladesh, who will address the participants and award prizes to the winners.

"Our goal with this competition is not only to challenge participants to defend their viewpoints but also to encourage them to envision a better future for Bangladesh," said Prof. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Ph.D, Vice Chancellor of Southeast University.

The event promises to be filled with insightful arguments, innovative solutions, and a showcase of the nation's brightest talents in debate.
