UIU Islamic Seminar 2025 held at UIU
United International University (UIU) organized the “UIU Islamic Seminar 2025” on 28 January 2025 (Tuesday) at 5:30 PM at the UIU Campus, United City, Madani Avenue, Dhaka-1212. That is a landmark event hosted for the first time at United International University.
Dr. A. F. M. Khalid Hossain, Honorable Advisor, The Ministry of Religious Affairs, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was present as the Chief Guest. Sheikh Ahmadullah, Chairman, As-Sunnah Foundation and Prof. Mokhter Ahmad, Director, Daffodil Islamic Center were present as the Special Guests. The Vice Chancellor of UIU Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia presided over the Ceremony.
The chief guest Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain said that building a society in the light of the great liberal moral ideals of Islam and advised to work together, forgetting religious and caste differences to move the country forward. He also expressed the hope that the youth will play an important role in building a beautiful Bangladesh in future.
The special guest Sheikh Ahmadullah in his speech, advised the youth society, especially university students to build character to learn from the life philosophy of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).
The special guest Prof. Mokhter Ahmad said that everyone should observe the respect and dignity given by Islam to the student-teacher relationship. He also discussed in detail the role and importance of Islam in building excellent relations between students and teachers.
The faculty members, students, officials, academicians, government high officials, Islamic scholars, journalists and other distinguished guests were present in the program.
