President Sahabuddin should be removed, according to Coordinator

President Sahabuddin Chuppu should be removed, according to Hasnat Abdullah, the coordinator of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement, which led the massive movement that overthrew the Awami League government.

Today, Hasnat posted the request on his verified Facebook page.

Along with these demands, he called for the Awami League to be punished as a party, a new constitution to be drafted, the dismissal of dishonest bureaucrats, and the revocation of any "illegal agreements" that had been signed while Sheikh Hasina was prime minister.

"Awami League should face justice, a new constitution should be written, corrupt Awami bureaucrats should be sacked, all illegal agreements made during Hasina's tenure should be cancelled, and Chuppu should be removed from the post of president immediately," he stated.
