Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina congratulated Bangladesh's national cricket team on winning the first-ever ODI series against South Africa on home ground today. Bangladesh defeated South Africa in a three-match one-day international (ODI) series, winning 2-1. In a felicitation message, the cricket-lover prime minister greeted all the players, coach and officials of the national cricket team and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials concerned for beating South Africa. She also expressed the hope that the winning spree of Bangladesh cricket team will continue in future. Bangladesh registered a historic win in the first ODI defeating South Africa by 38 runs and the third one by nine wickets while lose the second one day by seven wickets.
